This needle is quite sturdy and suitable for almost all hair types. This needle is particularly useful when working through the ends of the strands rather than through the middle. The shape and arrangement of the notches reliably pulls in the ends of the hair, preventing the unsightly stubble that often occurs when the notch depth is insufficient for the thickness of the hair. This needle has HL notches, which are characterized by a particularly rounded shape, thus protecting the vinyl and preventing the hair from breaking during insertion. When the head is warmed by a heat source (e.g., a halogen lamp) or a rice paper bag, the needle glides through almost by itself, leaving barely visible punctures.
